Imphal, July 25: The Lalambung Water Supply Scheme which has started construction in the year 2010 under the Special plan assistants has been cancelled in 2014 due to the delay of work by the contractor allotted work order for construction of the water supply scheme.
This was stated by PHED Minister L.Dikho while replying to a supplementary question by MLA Kh. Joykishan during question hour today. The Thangmeiband Assembly Constituency MLA had earlier asked whether there is any plan for construction of Water Supply Scheme at Lalambung and if so to provide work order and agreement with the contractor.
Replying to the question the PHED Minister said that there is no plant for construction of water supply scheme at Lalambung.
