Imphal, July 28: Family members of the Labourers’ body of the CAF & PD today throng to the official quarter of CAF& PD Minister M Okendra at Sanjenthong Officer Colony and placed the cooking pots and other material protesting the arrest of the labourers as well non fulfillment of the demands. The Labourers union were demanding hike in the charges for unloading and loading of PDS item by FSC authority at Sangaiprou.
The family members of the labourers earlier staged a protest at Sangaiprou area yesterday. Family members who came in around 3 vehicles at around 9.30 am today storm to the residential quarter of the CAF & PD Minister and placed the cooking materials. A team of Imphal East police however took the protestors at Hapta Kangjeibung.
