KYKL Chairman cautions people towards attempt for conversion to Hindutva Nation

Imphal, April 24: Greeting the people of Kangleipak including those in the WESEA region on occasion of the 23rd Foundation Day of the proscribed group Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL), Chairman of the outfit N Oken today cautions the people over the attempt of the mainland Indian leaders to convert the entire country into Hindutva nation. The outfit is celebrating the 23rd Foundation day on April 25.
In a lengthy message sent to the people of the region, the Chairman of the armed rebel group deliberated on how the majority Hindi heartland people are putting all their efforts to engulf minority communities.
“A serious issue facing by the people of the WESEA region is the crumbling of the identity of each community. Each of us are rushing to convert ourselves as Mayang as the leaders of the Hindi heartland are working hard to convert the multinational state-nation to a mono-cultural nation-state”, N Oken said in his statement.
He further said that some years ago we the people of the WESEA region have no fear to call ourselves as non-Indian. The Naga, the Mizo have no fear to call themselves as themselves and all the communities were closely related due to the closeness of identity.
N. Oken further expressed shocked over the identity diffusion due to the slow progress of Revolutionary movement saying that the traditions and culture of each communities are slowly engulf by the Hindi heartland leaders.
The KYKL Chairman also categorically stated on how the Congress party under the leadership of the Jawaharlal Nehru had dreamt of a creating a Hindi nation. And the attempt is still considered as a main agenda of the present BJP government.
N. Oken also deliberated on the concept of Hinduism stating that Hinduism is a conglomerate of various religions. He pointed out on how a Hindu demon is worship by some community as heroes.
Oken deliberated in depth on how the Aryan converted religion and identities of various community by amalgamating in Hindu religion.
The KYKL Chairman warns the people to be aware of such invasion to struggle together for protection of our identity.
