In a joint statement, the legislators acknowledged the Centre’s decision to place the Assembly under suspended animation and expressed hope that the Government of India would outline a comprehensive political roadmap to ensure peace and justice through a negotiated settlement.
The statement further mentioned that the MLAs looked forward to time-bound measures aimed at alleviating the suffering of conflict-affected and internally displaced people in the state.
The press release was signed by MLAs Haokholet Kipgen (Saitu), Letpao Haokip (Tengnoupal), Nemcha Kipgen (Kangpokpi), Nguranglur Sanate (Tipaimukh), Paolienlal Haokip (Saikot), Chinlunthang (Singhat), Kimneo Haokip Hangshing (Saikul), and Vungzagin Valte (Thanlon).

According to the announcement, the rally is scheduled to take place in Churachandpur, Lamka, Kangpokpi, Pherzawl, Jiribam, Moreh, Chandel, as well as in Delhi and the NCR region. The organizers confirmed that all preparations for the event had been completed.
