The Kuki Students’ Organisation (KSO) Machi Block strongly condemn the State Government and the concern Department of Autonomous District Council (ADC) Chandel for not taking up any action against a Teacher who was absent for more than a year and warned to close down the Chandel’s ADC Office.
In a Press Statement signed by Khaikhohao Haokip, President KSO Machi Block, the students’ body strongly condemned the State Government and the concern Department of Autonomous District Council (ADC) Chandel for not taking up any action against a Teacher who was absent for more than a year.
The statement further stated that Mr. Innocent Akoijam Seltun, an Assistant Teacher of Samukom Primary School under Machi Block of Chandel District was found absent since 2014 till date and accordingly, the student body informed the concern department for taking up appropriate action against the erring teacher.
However, despite the appealed of students’ body, the State Government and the concern department failed to take up any action against him till date, lamented the Students’ body.
While questioning the motives of the State government and the concern authority for delaying in taking up action against such erring teacher, the Students body further warned that it will closed down the Office of the Autonomous District Council (ADC) Chandel, if the concern authority fail to take up appropriate action against the said Teacher within the current month.
