Student body Kangleipak Students’ Association, (KSA) Manipur raised question over the legitimacy to the trespassing of International boundary by the 23 years old girl from Singhat who reached Manipur in February 28 from China on land route by passing through Myanmar. The student body while questioning the government on whether the girl will let free without any penalty after quarantined said that whether the International border shared between India and Myanmar with Manipur’s Churachandpur district is free for people to cross without having valid permit. Manipur share a total of 398 Km with Myannmar.

On the other hand the KSA also questioned on why so many none locals are allowed to enter the state through trucks without having valid documents for entering the state. The state has stopped issuing of Inner Line Permit (ILP) which is mandatory for all none Manipuri to enter the state.

The KSA expressed suspicion on whether some people are trying to send Coronavirus to the state through the unknown persons smuggled in the state.
