KSA appeals Higher Secondary schools not to exceed examination fees fixed by COHSEM

Kangleipak Student’s Association (KSA) has warned of serious consequences to all higher Secondary schools in the state if found taking extra charges while filling up form or appearing class XI and class XII final exam other then the fees fixed by the Council of Higher Secondary School Manipur (COHSEM).
A statement by Th. Johnson, Secretary General of KSA said that Authority of COHSEM in consultation with resource academicians had decided the amount required of conduct of the exam and fixed the fees that the student need to pay.
“These fee structures should be followed by all Higher Secondary School”, the KSA said.
On the hand the KSA, however give chances to schools who are against the decision in connection with the fixation of fees. It said that school authorities who are not satisfied with the decision to fixing the exam fee should timely compliant to the COHSEM. Instead of that if the school authority charges fees more the amount fixed by the COHSEM from the students, the KSA will not remain silent, the statement said.
