Union Minister of State for Home Affairs , Kiran Rijiju today arrived in the state at around 2.30 pm and took stock of the present condition of the state at the aftermath of the deadly tremor which occurred in the wee hour today. Soon after his arrival at Imphal Tulihal airport Rijiju said that he came to the state as per directives of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. On a question by reporters about the lost cause by the tremor Rijiju said that he did not have the official figures as the state government is yet to submit the detail report. He said he will be meeting the Chief Minister to review the total lost cause by the tremor.
Union Minister of State for DONER Dr. Jitendra also arrived in the state hours after the MoS Home. Both the central government representative jointly met the state government authority.
