Kejriwal okays Northeast Cell at his office

The Chief Minister of New Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal has ordered for Northeast Cell and Monitoring Committee for addressing issues pertaining to Northeast people at the national capital.
According to a highly placed source, representatives of NGOs, women activist, advocates from Northeast will be the members of the committee.
The decision to constitute the committee has been arrived during a meeting of the Chief Minister and representatives of Northeast NGOs, women activists, students union at his office at the national capital, said the source.
During the meeting the northeast leaders raised various issues pertaining to the problems being faced by people from northeasterners at New Delhi and other Indian metros cities.
They also submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister on the problems face by northeasterners at New Delhi.
