The Manipur Keithel Phambi Apunba Lup has issued a strong rebuke to the 40 MLAs of the Manipur Legislative Assembly and the state government for their continued silence regarding the activities of the Assam Rifles, who they allege are supporting Kuki narco-terrorists.
Talking to the media, a member of the Manipur Keithel Phambi Apunba Lup expressed frustration, declaring that under the supervision of the Poirei Leimarol Apunba Meira Paibi Manipur, the Keithel Phambi of Manipur will not remain silent until the government addresses their demands. These demands include the withdrawal of the Assam Rifles and resolving the ongoing crisis that has engulfed the state.
The member highlighted a statement made by former ADG of BSF, PK Mishra, who openly accused the Assam Rifles of colluding with Kuki narco-terrorists. She emphasized that the people of Manipur are also aware of the Assam Rifles’ alleged support for these terrorist groups.
The Manipur Keithel Phambi Apunba Lup has warned the state government of a potential uprising if the crisis is not resolved within one and a half months. This stern warning comes amid growing unrest and demands for action to restore peace and stability in the region.
