KCP warns to call 24-hr Manipur Bandh

Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) Poirei Meitei Lup has warned to call 24-hour statewide bandh from September 5 if the authority of Manipur University failed to tender public apology within three days time.
KCP in a release alleged that the Finance Officer of Manipur University and Supplier Rame have allegedly siphoned off funds meant for students and developmental works of the university.
The scholarship for students has been unpaid as the two diverted the funds. The outfit also alleged them of misusing of funds.
It also informed that the indefinite curfew which is being in force inside the university campus would be continued.
