Armed group KCP Poirei today appealed the people of the state not to staged any form of protest to the kind of action taken up by the outfit against the authority’s failure to reveal the white paper for award of contract works regarding the works taken up for Sangai festival. In a press statement, signed by one Malemnganba Meitei, Publicity Secy. KCP Poirei, the outfit said that as the government authority has failed to disclose the truth about the work orders, the outfit now is sure that huge public money are being looted in the name of taking up developmental works. It said the outfit will take up appropriate action to root out all form of misdeeds and misappropriation of public fund.
