KCP Poirei Meitei Lup imposes curfew in the surrounding of Congress and BJP candidates for IMC election

Imphal, May 19: Kangleipak Communist Party Poirei Meitei Lup has imposed curfew at the surrounding of all congress and BJP candidates of the upcoming IMC election accusing both the parties for playing with the sentiments of the people of the state. In a statement issued by the outfit, it is stated that BJP which is in power at the center and the Congress are playing blame game instead of doing their work to get approval of the 3 ILPS Bills which is pending for around 8 months. It said the voice of the people is not listen by the state government and is ignored by the central government. It said both the BJP and the Congress are taking more important on IMC election than the peoples’ voice.
The outfit appealed all the people to stay away from the candidates of the Congress and BJP and warned the candidates from conducting any kind of campaign. It further said that any protest against the outfit’s decision will be accepted as the enemy of the outfit. However, if the Congress and the BJP listen to the voice of the people then it will lift all bands. The outfit also warned all other political party to face the similar action if failed to listen the voice of the people.
