KCP, Poirei Meitei Lup appreciated the authority of St. Joseph School for dismissing of Gurumayam Rupachandra Sharma, the teacher who was assaulted by a student group for allegedly canning a student of class VI. In a press statement, the outfit appealed to prevent any such incident in the coming days. Following that, the ban imposed on the school and the proposed 12 hours general strike has been called off, the KCP Poirei statement added. The party also appreciated the DESAM for its apology to the assault of teacher. The statement further appealed that any unwanted incidents happen in school should be reported to the head of the school and if they ignored the report then it should be reported to other related authority.
