Imphal, July 27: Rebel group KCP Poirei Meitei Lup today said that the bomb attack to the residence of M Ibotombi Singh at Yairipok area was not related with the students’ agitation against the construction of Power Sub station inside the premises of two government schools at Yairpok. In a press statement the outfit said that it has no interest on the matter and had not spell a single words on whether to construct or not.
The bomb attack was carried out as M Ibotombi had time and against showed high handedness to the party when he was the BDO at Bishempur. It said the party had requested him to meet the party but he had defied all the time.
Reacting to the Joint Student Coordinating Committee (JSCC) who had alleged the party to have been acting in favour of MLA K Meghachandra, KCP Porei Meitei Lup said that it was unfortunate and appealed the JSCC should find the truth before misleading a party which has been doing good work for the people of the state.
