KCP-MC denies hand in attack to press

Imphal, Dec 28: Banned armed group, KCP- MC has clarified that it has no hands in planting of bomb at the office of Pandam evening day on 26 December, 2016. In a release signed by Paikhomba Meitei, Secretary Information and Publicity of KCP-MC said that the outfit has urged People’s War Group, a conglomerate body for outfits based in Marxism ideology, to find out the responsible people or group that planted the office of Pandam newspaper.It was an alleged conspiracy by state agency to malign the movement of armed groups in Manipur. Terming that such a conduct is committed by “terrorist minded” group, the outfit also appealed the people of Manipur not to misunderstood the KCP-MC for such terrorist act of neo-imperialist forces. KCP-MC also appealed the armed groups in the state to stop attacking media houses.
