KCP issues final reminder to schools over REPoK compliance

The proscribed Kangliepak Communist Party (KCP) has issued a “last reminder” to schools in Manipur to comply with its Revolutionary Education Policy of Kangleipak (REPoK), warning of action against institutions that fail to implement the policy.

The statement signed by M. Punsiba Meitei, Secretary, Information and Public Relations Department, of the outfit claimed that most private schools had begun implementing its recommendations and prescriptions but alleged that a few “profit-oriented and predatory” schools were yet to comply.

The outfit alleged that some school owners were discouraging institutions from implementing the policy and described such efforts as “anti-student and anti-people”. It warned that non-compliant schools would be shut down permanently from 2027 onwards and said a list of such institutions would be released by late October, advising students against seeking admission to them.
