Imphal, May 8: Executive Committee meeting of the Kangleipak Calendar Boar (KCB) has unanimously elected Thongbam Premjit as the new general secretary of the board for 3 years for 2016-19. Former general secretary Soraisam Shanjit who was elected on April 10 to the post will stay as board member as he is having personal problem to carry on with the general secretary post. The executive meeting held today was presided by Chief Advisor of the Kangleipak Calendar Board P Labango Mangang. Advisor of the Board Ayekpam Tomba Meetei and Akam Langol also graced the occasion as dignitaries on the dais.
