Karam Shyam says competition is a must for students

In today’s world marking system has been criticized by various scholars, Manipur’s Minister Karam Shyam has said that competition is a must in today’s.  
“Without competition no good will come”, the CAF and PD Minister Karam Shyam said while speaking as the chief guest on the   6th Foundation Day held at Charangpat mamang leikai Polo ground yesterday.
He was referring to the competition among students in their academic field. However, he mentioned nothing about the grading system which is a talk of the nation.
On the occasion for the development of rural areas youth of Thoubal and Charangpat Mamang Leikai formed an organization called “Manipur Imagi Changdanafam Oiba Nachasing “(MAICHON)
He further said that we should try to bring out  good leaders and to know the quality of good leaders is to know their surrounding people wants and to help to get their want.
As Minister of CAF and PD, the Minister said that there has been no lapses to the distribution of PDS items except Sugar. Subsidies on Sugar has be deducted so government now gives more priority on NAFSA Rice at the rate Rs. 3/-.
The newly formed  MAICHON will organise a programme called “ Personality Development and Moral Education “ .
