Imphal, Sept 24: CAF & PD Minister Karam Shyam launched Swachhta Hi Seva campaign at Lilong Nagar Panchayat today. Large number of people of the area including the Chairperson fo the Panchayat Lalamni and Vice Chairperson Sanatomba along with other members attended the clean India campaign which was launched by the prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 24 and which will continue till October 2. Speaking to media person karam Shyam said that the Swachhta Hi Seva campaign launched by the prime minister is an opportunity provided to the people of the state to keep their surrounding clean. He said people of Manipur have the habit of pilling up garbage at road sides when such system was never seen at any part of the developed countries including those in the south East Asia. He appealed people to joined the campaign and keep the surrounding clean for a better Manipur.
