Imphal, Sept 16: Kangleipak Calendar Board today appealed all authority who are willing to publish calendar to register at the Board office. It also appeals other registered body publishing Calendar to collect information for publication of exact date from the office. The Board said that Calendar which are not registered in the Board will not be considered as legal as there are possibility of misguiding the public when it comes to celebration of traditional festival. The information are collected from the Positional Astronomy Center of the India government and taking reference to the data the Board decided the festival date in a scientific way to avoid confusion among the people. The Board also appealed the state government authority to discuss with the members before publishing holiday or festival list.
