A team of Manipur police under the supervision of Superintendent of Kakching District Police, Victoria Yengkhom conducted a cordon and search operation at JKS CONSTRUCTION and GRIL base camp at Kakching Lamkhai in Kakching district today. The construction company is undertaking the works for repairing of the National Highway. Police source said that the cordon and search operation was conducted from 4.20 am today morning till 630 am after getting specific information about the presence of anti social elements.
Around 400 labourers were verified one after another, however no arrest was made said the source.
