Imphal, Oct. 19: Jwalamukhi Battalion of Senapati Brigade under the aegis of Ref Shield Division organised a weapon and equipment display at Thongtong Higher Secondary School of village Thangkanphai on 17 Oct 2015. The drive was not only an insight into armed forces but also a spring of information for the young children on career avenues in armed forces. The drive was attended by 109 students including 65 boys and 44 girls of Thongtong Higher Secondary School of village Thangkanphai, district Senapati.
Assorted weapons and equipment were put on display and info was provided on various ways to joining Armed Forces. The drill display by trained canines was a visual treat for the locals and was witnessed with enthusiasm by both young and old.
