Justice D. Krishnakumar sworn in as Chief Justice of High Court of Manipur

Chief Justice designate of High Court of Manipur, Justice D. Krishnakumar was today sworn in as the Eighth Chief Justice of High Court of Manipur. Governor of Manipur Lakshman Prasad Acharya administered the oath of office to Justice D. Krishnakumar in the swearing in ceremony held at the Darbar Hall of Raj Bhavan in Imphal.
Justice D. Krishnakumar of Madras High Court was appointed as the Chief Justice of High Court of Manipur by the President of India on November 20, 2024 following the superannuation of the incumbent, Justice Siddharth Mridul.
Chief Minister N. Biren Singh, Speaker of Manipur Legislative Assembly Th. Satyabrata Singh, Cabinet Ministers, MP Rajya Sabha Sanajaoba Leishemba, MLAs, Judges of High Court of Manipur and subordinate courts, top civil, police and military officers attended the swearing in ceremony.
