JSCC threatens intense agiation if fail to announce election date of MUSU

Imphal, Dec 28: Joint Students’ Coordinating Committee (JSCC) has threatened to launce intense form of agitation if the authority of the Manipur University fails to announce a schedule for students’ election of Manipur University on or before 1 pm of December 29. The JSCC is a joint body of AMSU, KSA, SUK and MSF. In a press meet, Convenor of the JSCC S. Subashchandra while speaking to media persons said that failure on the side of the MU authority to announce the election schedule is provoking anger to the students. Condemning the postponement of election the convenor said those responsible professors to the postponement of the Election should be resigned from their respective post. The convenor also further appealed the MUTA to announce their stand to the present crisis face by the students of the University.
