Joint students meet resolved complete eradication of Narco-Terrorism

A joint meeting of the six students’ bodies today resolved to end all form of narco-terrorism and also to fight with all means for wiping out the illegal immigrants from Manipur which is a threat to the indigenous people of the region.
With the ongoing crisis crossing over five months seeing no solutions, students of the state who are the future of the nation can no longer remain confined to their books as what is happening today in Manipur has severely affected them psychologically. With the ongoing crisis seeing no solutions, the students had already broken their silence and staged series of protest. Today the Manipur Students Federation (MSF), Democratic Students Alliance of Manipur (DESAM), Kangleipak Student’s Association (KSA), Apunba Irespakki Maheiroi Sinpanlup (AIMS) and another major student’s group jointly organized a meeting on the theme to protect our future (Eikhoigi Tunglamchat Kallasi).
“Students of today should understand history to fight and counter fabricated history prepared by pseudo intellectuals to distort our genuine history”, Assistant Professor Arambam Noni told the gathering students. Dr. Noni was referring to certain pseudo historian who had illegally entered and settled in the state and later wrote fabricated history with sinister motives to distort the genuine history of Manipur.
Professor N. Joykumar, while speaking on the gathering told the students to study history as history teaches us the good and the bad. “We learnt history to make sure that we don’t repeat those mistake committed in the past”, Prof. Joykumar said. He told the students to make sure that every one of them are equipped with knowledge and wisdoms to fight and protect our mother land.
Professor Bhagat another speaker also appealed the people to understand the root of the present crisis and said that in the changing world of today where knowledge is power, students should learnt how to fight and preserved our motherland with our wisdom.
The meeting of the joint students’ bodies besides resolving to wipe out narco terrorists has also resolved to intensify the agitation for implement National Registers of Citizens (NRC). Nine other resolutions including to stand tooth and nail against all attempt to distort the integrity of the state of Manipur and to take part major role for ensuring economically self sufficient state.
