A Joint students’ co-ordinating committee comprising of All Manipur Student Union (AMSU) Manipur Student Federation (MSF) Student Union of Kangleipak (SUK) and Kangleipak Student Association (KSA) all set to observe Lamyanba Hijam Irabot Day commemorating the 119th Birth Anniversary of the pioneer leader .
The media co ordinator of joint committee, Sarangthem Manjit said in commemoration to Lamyanba Hijam Irabot birth anniversary, the Joint student co ordination committee will organize five day long observance from September 25 to 30.
He further added that the observance will begin from Nambol Keithel with social service camp on Sept 25, on Sept 26 a symposium competition will be held at Imphal college, on Sept 28 recitation competition will held at Manipur college, on Sept. 29 a cycle rally will be organized from Oinam Leikai the birth place of Lamyanba Hijam Irabot to lamlai-chalou and on Sept. 30 a public meeting will held at DM college and on the occasion prizes of the various competition held on the occasion will be distributed.
