Jiribam Police seize liquor

Jiribam, July 3:

A team of Jiribam District Police seized 142 bottles of liquor from a Tata truck at Leingangpokpi today.
As per a report from Jiribam police, today at around 9.00 am while conducting normal frisking and checking at Leingangpokpi outpost gate along NH -37 by a team of Leingangpokpi op led by SI N. Premjit Singh in charge LPI OP, one Tata truck bearing regd no MN 04A 3065 coming from Imphal side was stopped for checking. 
On checking 142 nos of bottles containing 1 litre each in three gunny bags were seized from the possession of one Laishram Inao Singh 52 years s/o L. Ibohanbi Singh of Sekmai Leipat, Imphal West, Manipur.
The seized liquors along with the arrested owner are handed over to the officer in charge, excise station, Jiribam for further necessary action.
