Along with the rest of the nation, the Jiribam District Administration today organized a massive yoga and cleanliness drive across the district in connection with the celebration of 4 years of citizen-centric governance on the theme “Health and Nutrition”.
The yoga session was held at the Auditorium Hall of RK Sanatombi Devi Vidyalaya, Jiribam.
Deputy Commissioner of Jiribam W. Malemnganba Chenglei (IAS); Adhyaksha, Jiribam Zilla Parishad Kh. Janaki Devi; Additional S.P (Ops), Jiribam AK. Sadananda Singh along with different ranks official of district level and volunteers of Civil Society Organisation (CSOs) Jiribam participated in it.
In continuation with the programme, activities included health check-up, awareness of COVID appropriate behaviour, awareness on covid vaccination were held at Jiribam 50- bedded hospital, Community Health Centre and Primary Health Centre, Borobekra Sub- Division of Jiribam District.
