Master M. Khayingthei (Posthumous) son of M David of Tushen Chanhong Village under Shangshak in Ukhrul district has been awarded Sarvottam Jeevan Raksha Padak and Master Arambam Sanajaoba Singh of Takhel Mayai Leikai, PO Lamlai in Imphal East district has been awarded Jeevan Raksha Padak.Sarvottam Jeevan Raksha Padak included a sum of rupees one lakh while Jeevan Raksha Padak included a sum of rupees 40,000/-.Both the award will be handed over to them on the Independence Day celebration function by the president of India.
