Unkown miscreants today morning hijacked a four wheeler vehicle (Jeep) from Taphou Kuki Village at around 11.30 pm. The incident happened when combined troop of Imphal West Police and 25AR were conducting search operation at Leizang Village which is only some kilometre away from the place.
Source said that those involved in the hijacking of the vehicles might have been cadres of the URF who were fleeing the area.
