Ksh. Biren Singh, President of the Janata Dal (United), Manipur State Unit, has extended his congratulations to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and JD(U) workers in Bihar following the party’s landslide victory in the Bihar Assembly Election held in November 2025. In a letter dated November 15, Singh noted that the party had nearly doubled its tally of successful candidates compared to the 2020 elections, describing the mandate as a reflection of public trust in Nitish Kumar’s leadership and two decades of governance.
The message, conveyed on behalf of JD(U) workers in Manipur, praised the development-focused approach and accountability demonstrated under Nitish Kumar’s tenure. Singh stated that voters had once again shown their preference for responsible governance over divisive politics and expressed confidence that Bihar would continue to strengthen the model of Susasan (good governance) in the coming five years.
Biren Singh also highlighted Nitish Kumar’s inclusive and development-oriented leadership, describing it as a model for other states across the country.
