JDU condemns frequent bomb blast

Janata Dal United Manipur State Unit today condemned frequent bomb blasts and threats to civilian in the state.
In a press statement released today by Sheikh Mufizuddin, Secretary Administration, JDU, said that the National leaders of JDU are trying its level best within and outside the assembly session to repeal AFSPA and remove the disturbed area status from the state. Meanwhile the increase in monetary demands, threatening with bomb plantation and blasting of bombs at public places are creating trouble in eradicating the disturbed area status from the state, added Sheikh. The statement further added that the President, JDU State Unit, M. Tombi and General Secretary, Lian Gangte had left Imphal today for Delhi to participate in a protest which will be organised tomorrow by NEFIS, New Delhi. Sheikh further appealed to cooperate in the movement initiated by JDU to remove the disturbed area status and not repeat such crimes in the state.
