JD-U says 3 ILPS related Bills not flatly rejected by the Center

Imphal, June 10: State JD-U President M Tombi today said that the central government had not completely rejected the 3 ILPS related Bills passed by the state Assembly on August 31 last year. Recounting his recent meeting with the Union Home Minister Rajnath as a part of the All Political Party delegation at New Delhi, Tombi said that the president had denied assent to the The Protection of Manipur People Bill 2015. However the 2 other Bills passed by the state assembly still is under consideration to find a reasonable solution. Tombi said the other Bills which the President denied assent can also be passed after few amended by sorting out the differences.
