Janata Dal (United) today cautions the state BJP unit if any unwanted incidents happen due the Naga peace accord signed between the NSCN-IM and the Government of India.
Speaking to reporters N. Tombi, President JD (U) Manipur State Unit said that the party welcome the peace accord signed between the govt. of India and the NSCN-IM but if the content of the accord hurt the sentiments of the people of the state then the BJP Manipur Predesh should be held responsible for unwanted incident happened in the state.
He further said that the state CM Okram Ibobi along with Assam and Arunachal Pradesh CMs, who are in New Delhi should get a copy of the peace accord and showed it to the people of the state.
He added that he will urge the JD(U) MP to take up the matter in the parliament session.
On the suspension of six police constables, N Tombi said government should suspend the officer who order the police constable to fire the student protestors on July 8.
Tombi further added that the state government should arrange a place where people could staged democratic form of protest.
