Imphal, Aug 30: JCILPS had submitted the proposed draft Bill of the new legislation which is supposed to be introduced in the upcoming Assembly session set to begin from September 2. The proposed draft Bill submitted by the JCILPS is slightly different from the original draft Bill prepares by the government of Manipur. It highlights its own definition of whom to be called indigenous people.
