JCILPS attempt to storm State Assembly foiled; several students injured in police action

Police today foiled attempt by student agitator to storm at state assembly demanding introduction of inner line permit system bill. Large number of students gathered at Tiny Tots School, Dewlaland and then marched toward state assembly along Chigmeirong side.  The student were stop by a police team at Chingmeirong Traffic point. After a brief confrontation the student agitators forcibly made their way until state assembly first gate. The police team then lathi charged the student and disperses them. During the police action some of the students were seriously injured and some fainted. The agitators includes student from Tiny Tots School Dwalaland.
At least 2 students had been injured in the police act and 8 students were hospitalised.
Later the police drive the student to the school campus. A few minutes later another group of students numbering around 200 of EK higher Secondary school and Sangai Higher secondary school of Sangakpham storm again from the northern side of Chingmeirong. Additional team of police rush to the side and prevented the students at Chingmeirong crossing  area.
