JCILP Students’ Wing hits back on CM; says no question of instigation on ILP movement

Reacting to the statement given by Chief Minister Okram Ibobi on his Independence Day speech which he said that the students and the meira paibis were instigated by the members of the JCILP, Convenor of the Students Wing said that there is no question of instigation to the students body as the issue is for the people of the state. Speaking to a group of media persons at the head of DESAM, Angamba said that ILP is the only means to safe the endangered indigenous people of the state. He said students canot remain silent when there is no future.The convenor of the students wing of the JCILP further said that they appreciated the words of Chief Minister when he said that the government is sorting out a way introduction of the ILP system in the state. He said the students’ body are ready to help the government if they are sincerely working out for introduction of the system.Mention may be made that students participating the march pass at 1st Manipur Rifle Parade ground took everyone by surprise after they shouted slogans demanding Inner Line Permit system when the Chief Minister had started delivering his Independence Day speech. The act of the student was seriously noted and the CM in is speech said that they are being instigated.
