JCILP student’s wing to intensify agitation

JCILP student’s wing threatens to launch serious form of agitation if the government fail to implement ILPS within 15.Addressing a press conference today at the office of JCILP located at Nongmeibung, Imphal, M. Angamba, Convenor, JCILP said with concern of the government a committee compiled of all political party has been formed regarding the implementation of ILP system in the state. The committee has organised various meetings including all the delegates, officials, representatives of various unions, etc and comments and feedbacks have been put across towards the issue of ILP. Later, the Chief Minister, O. Ibobi, himself has assured that an Act same as ILP or ILP itself will be implemented in the state, however no action has been taken so far and the student’s wing highly condemn it, said Angamba. Angamba demanded the concerned authority to implement ILP or pass an act/ordinance by 31st Oct, or various agitations have been set up to take place, added Angamba.Angamba also demanded the concerned authority to take action against Addl SP, Victoria by 31st Oct and he further said a meeting on “student’s role to save indigenous people” will be conducted on 21st Oct at Manipur College.
