The three-day Jan Kalyan Shivir organised by the District Administration Kakching concluded successfully today at the DC Office Complex. The outreach programme brought benefits of the Central and State Government schemes under one roof for the citizens.
Around 1,100 citizens participated at the three-day Shivir and 1,121 applications were recieved by the District Administrarion for various schemes. Altogether 977 applications were disposed during the three-day public welfare camps in the district. The programme strengthened the connection between Government institutions and citizens, giving special emphasis so that no eligible beneficiary is left out.
In the final day today, Dr. Usham Deben Singh, MLA of Wabagai Assembly Constituency; Mayanglambam Rameshwar Singh, MLA of Kakching Assembly Constituency along with Angeline Renita, IAS, Deputy Commissioner of Kakching distributed cards of various schemes to the beneficiaries at the programme held at DC Office complex today.
The dignitaries distributed CMST and ration cards, seeds and fertilizers from Horticulture & Soil Conservation, nutrients from Agriculture Department, Chief Minister Widow Pension Scheme to the eligible beneficiaries of Kakching and Wabagai Assembly Constituencies. The camp saw participation of 507 citizens, 521 applications were recieved and 485 applications were disposed today.
Among the schemes which were provided at the camp were Ayushman Bharat, CMHT, PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi, Kisan Credit Card, PM Matsya Kisan Samridhi Sah Yojana, PM Surya Ghar, PM Ujjwala Yojana and Startup Manipur Scheme.
