Jan Bhagidaari Sabse Door, Sabse Pehle launched in Chandel, Tamenglong and Kangpokpi

The District Administration Chandel launched the Nationwide Information, Education and Communication (IEC) Campaign on “Jan Bhagidaari Sabse Door, Sabse Pehle” Under DA-JGUA, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Md. Firoz Khan-MCS, in the DC Conference Hall Chandel today.
The week-long (18th to 25th May) Campaign aims to strengthen public participation and ensure that government services, awareness, and welfare initiatives reach every corner of the district.
The Campaign will be conducted at 91 Villages in 3 Block of Chandel District from May 18 to May 25 to ensure awareness, enrolment and delivery of benefits under various government schemes. The Chandel District Administration directed all SDOs, BDOs, District Level Officers and stakeholders to organise campaign activities across identified DA-JGUA villages and ensure wide publicity.
The Janjatiya Garima Utsav 2026 Jan Bhagidari Abhiyan, under the theme “Sabse Door, Sabse Pehle,” was launched today at the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Tamenglong. The programme, held under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, was inaugurated by Namthango Kahmei, MCS, Assistant Commissioner to the Deputy Commissioner, who is also the nodal officer for the campaign.
The launch was attended by Kachamthai F. Gangmei, Chief Executive Officer, ADC Tamenglong; D. Meidinbui, Sub-Divisional Officer, Tamenglong; Dr. Majachunglu, Chief Medical Officer, Tamenglong; and officers from various line departments.
The Kangpokpi District Administration also launched “Jan Bhagidaari Sabse Door, Sabse Pehle,” following an announcement by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Lamminlal Simte, MCS, in the Conference Hall of DC Complex.
