JAC urges swift action for justice in Mayajul Laskar’s brutal killing

The JAC Against Brutal Killing of Mayajul Laskar is fervently demanding justice following the tragic murder of Mayajul, which occurred yesterday.
Foiz Ahmed, the Convenor of JAC, addressed the media, stating that on March 19th, around 8:00 am, Mutum Biken from Gularthol, accompanied by others, visited Mayajul Laskar’s residence in Babupara Ward No. 5.
Foiz Ahmed recounted that Mayajul was taken from his home under the guise of a cattle sale. Tragically, it was later revealed that he had been subjected to brutal assault and succumbed to his injuries.
The JAC has promptly submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner of Jiribam, as well as to the Chief Minister of Manipur and the local MLA, urging the swift apprehension of those responsible for Mayajul Laskar’s murder.
Additionally, they are calling for a comprehensive investigation into the case. The JAC Against Brutal Killing of Mayajul Laskar cautioned that failure to address the matter expediently could lead to unrest in the area. They emphasized the potential for mass protests and rallies if justice is not swiftly served.
