Members of the Join action committee against the killing of Sanathoi today stormed at Lamlai police station demanding handing over of the accuses Naobi to them. Around 250 members of the JAC came in 7 buses and staged a protest rally from Lamlai bazaar at around 12:45 pm. Slogan like “handover the killer of Sanathoi” “people are not satisfied” were shouted during the rally. Later, the rally was blocked at Lamlai Commando police station gate. However, the protestors turn hostile and tried to confront the police. Police later fire several mock bomb to control the agitators.
Later, 5 members of the JAC were allowed to meet SDPO of Lamlai police station.
