JAC continues agitation

Imphal, May 2: Member of JAC formed in connection with the killing of Bachaspatmayum Pitaranjan (Korabin) has blocked roads and locked down government as well as private offices in and around Porompat in Imphal East today.

The JAC claimed that they have decided to road block locking down of government offices after the government authority failed to deliver their demands.

It also informed that they would intensify their agitation if the authority failed to arrest the culprit and reward befitting punishment.

It may be recalled that Pitaranjan (22),s/o B Shantikumar of Nongmeibung was found dead on April 24 at Kangkhum Village in Ukhrul district a jungle situated around 30km from Kasom Khullen.
