The Zelianrong Youth Front and Haipou Jadonang Memorial Trust are all set to observe the 84th Death Anniversary of Haipou Jadonang at the birthplace at Tamenglong district, Manipur tomorrow. Puiluanh Village in Nungba Sub-division of Tamenglong district Manipur is the birth place of Martyr.
The theme of the observance is – Haipou Jadonang, Pioneer Protagonist of journey of common hope.
The observance function will be attended by TS. Worngam, Vice-President, United Naga Council (UNC), Ashingpou Gangmei, Vice-Chairman, Committee on Alternative Arrangement, UNC and Titus Kamei, President, Zeliangrong Youth Front (ZYF) as Chief Guest, Guest of Honour and Functional President respectively a statement of ZYF said.
Story Narration on the life of Haipou Jadonang, Parade Display, Traditional song and dance, Presentation etc. are some of the programme highlights. The Organisng Committee appeal to all the public, village authorities, students, church leaders and all the Zeliangrong organizations to come and participate in the said programme.
