Under the banner of Nongdol Mamikol, produced by Samir Thingbaijam, Directed by Bishwamittra, and written by Rebika Okram.
Bishwamittra and Tonthoi were awarded the 3rd Best Direction and Best Actress in the Global Independent Film Festival of India recently held on 30th Nov 2022 at Rabindra Okakura Bhawan, Salt Lake, Kolkata.
The film will be screened at the 28th Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF), Non-Competition Section-Short and Documentary Panorama to be held on 15th – 22nd December 2022
The film has also got the official selection at the Northeast India International Film Festival (NIIFF), Nagaland to be held on December 12-13, 2022 at Naithu Resort, Dimapur, Nagaland.
Earlier, Festivus film Fest, Canada has awarded Best film, and Honorable Jury Award at the 11th Delhi Short International Film Festival, 2022.
Eewai has 16 entries in the International Film Festival around the Globe including semi-finalists, finalists and award winners.
Cinematographer – Romen , Editor – Mohendro, Music Director – Micheal Ngangom, Make-up – Gojen, Light Director – Brojen, Playback – Nganthoi and Subash, Tonthoi, Rashi, Suniti, Henary, Homeshori, Nganthoi are in the cast.
