Lamka, Oct. 18: Churachandpur Joint Women’s Association (CJWA) today condemn the kidnapping and molest of a class 3 students by unknown persons on October 7 in-between 12 to 2 pm at Khuga Dam Pump House.In a press meet held at Vengnuam, Hiangtam Lamka, Churachandpur CJWA president, JL Sawmi said that an eight years old girl child Chingnou ( name change) of Tangnuam village, Churachandpur was kidnapped and molested by an auto driver, and she was tied her mouth and threaten to kill her with a long iron rod, if she scream or exposed his name.A young under aged child draw in her book the kidnapper picture as long hair, wearing blue T shirt, with a spectacle, however, Churachandpur police did not take necessary action, said the CJWA president. She further said that an FIR was lodge on 22nd October, 2014, the joint women association will launch an agitation on the matter, and take necessary action with the matter.Later, the kidnapper dropped her somewhere at Kawnpui village, just before dusk, she added.
