IPAK reveals NSCN-IM demands after signing of Peace Accord

Indigenous Peoples’ Association of Kangleipak, (IPAK) today reveals a series of demand submitted by the NSCN-IM to the Government of India a day after signing the peace accord between the Government of India and the NSCN-IM. The list of demanded was announced by IPAK Chairman Sapamcha Jadumani during a press meet held today afternoon.
Interestingly the demand of the NSCN-IM, that the IPAK has claimed to have been submitted was similar to the demand which was put up by the NSCN-IM some days back.
It included extension of Art 371A to all Naga inhabitant areas in India, Intestate trade and commerce, Regulation and development of oil fields, mineral oils resources, petroleum and petroleum products, other liquids and substances declared as highly inflammable, Cultivation, manufacture and sale for export of opium, Manipur Hills Areas Delimit to 30 Seats from the present 20 seats, VI schedule for ADC(s) Manipur Hill district and Tirap and Changlang Districts.Social Organization among others,  Participation in conferences of trade conferences and implementing  its decisions, Participation in UNO in matters of human resources development, socio-economic growth, environment and trade relations,  Foreign loans and aids Human Resources, Coal based 250MW Thermal power,  Dikhu Hydro project, 120MW, Tizu-Zumki Basin1500MW, etc.
