Imphal, May 17: International day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia was held today at the auditorium of Tribal Research Institute, here in Imphal.
The programme is organized jointly by the Humsafar trust, Mumbai and Department of Social Work, Indira Gandhi National Tribal University.
Education Minister Radheshyam graced the occasion as chief guest while Dr. Ng. Ngalengam, Director in charge of the IGNTU, Regional campus presided over the function. Dr. P Sarat, MLA nd Advisor to the Chief Minister of Manipur attended as Guest of honour.
Dr. Dhanabir Laishram Social Scientist, S. Premananda Sharma Vice President BJP Manipur Pradesh Abiram Mongjam Joint Director MACS and K. Saroja Deputy Director (training) Dept. of Social Welfare Govt. of Manipur attended the programme as special invitees.
