Imphal, Jan 28: The prize distribution ceremony for the winners of the International Earth Sciences Olympiad, 2017 of Imphal centre which was held on January 22, 2017 at Department of Earth Sciences Manipur University was held today at the Chamber of Dean, School of Human and Environmental Sciences, Manipur University.
Top three prize winners from this Imphal Centre are:1st -Laishram Yashmine Devi of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Khumbong; 2nd – Khundrakpam Rahul Singh of K.M. Blooming Hr. Sec. School, Thoubal and 3rd -Soraijam Krishnakumar Singh of L.C.M. High School, Moirang. The three winners were felicitated and given attractive prizes with certificates. Professor Arun Kumar, Dean, School of Human and Environmental Sciences, Manipur University felicitated the winners and congratulated the winners and also interacted with them about the importance of Earth Sciences.
